As far as I can remember, I've always been active and played sports all through my life. I also found my way into weightlifting at a young age as my uncle was a competitive bodybuilder at the time. For many years, I was your typical gym rat until one evening I decided I would sign up for Tough Mudder. I changed my training completely and I was in the best shape of my life. It also changed my whole perspective on overall fitness and health. And soon after, I started running 5ks, 10ks, 10-miler and Spartan Races. Unfortunately, I tore my meniscus in 2017, and made me rethink my fitness training.
Then, in 2018 I was introduced to CrossFit and I knew it was the "balance" I was looking for. I was still able to lift heavy while working on my cardiovascular endurance and learning new skills along the way. I have been doing CrossFit for almost 6 years and I'm 43 years old. I am at a point where I would like to share my passion, knowledge, and dad jokes with people looking to try CrossFit. As a coach, I am here to help, make people laugh, motivate, and inspire others to achieve their fitness goals and to become the best version of themselves.
