Growing up I was very active in sports from a young age through high school playing football, basketball and baseball. I served in the US Army for six years where I was introduced to daily PT, which I always welcomed. I first tried CrossFit in 2013 and was hooked! CrossFit is a full body workout and the functionality of the movements directly relate to daily life activities. I also love that a coach is always leading us through workouts, correcting our technique, and keeping our bodies in safe positions. Now as an active duty firefighter and also US Army Reserve, I have realized just how much CrossFit helped prepare me for the rigorous requirements and demands that come with my job. After getting my Level 1 CrossFit certification, my goal as a coach is to help people improve their own lifestyles and achieve the same success that I found through CrossFit. Seeing the success of others and the excitement that comes with it, keeps me motivated to give my best each day.
